LESSON 5: SHARING INFORMATION AND DIGITAL CONTENTS

In this lesson, we focused on how to share information and digital contents and how this will be useful for our future students. We had to do two activities, an individual and a group one. In the individual activity I created a mind map using Mindomo and an infographic about my group didactic unit explaining one concept related. And in the group one, all members of my group had to sing in a Genially account and create a presentation about our chosen topic, the peace day.

For the first part of the individual activity, we had to create an infographic. They are very useful as they show information in a simple and visual way and also help with memorizing things as they stimulate photographic memory by being simple and are easy and fast to create. I chose a topic regarding my group topic unit and made this graphic visual representation with the objective of presenting information quickly, clearly and in a way that appears attractive and captures the attention to the user. In the image below we can observe an infographic that I created regarding the importance of Peace Day and why it should be celebrated using Piktochart. For the second part of the exercise our objective was to create an account in Mindomo and then to make a mind map individually about the peace day. I created this mind map using Mindomo. For it,  I created an account on the web page and I started to organize and customize the mind map about the topic I chose from the peace day. In the screenshot below and in this link: https://www.mindomo.com/mindmap/ed85bf26e52a47108b2c534cbc80776e we can see the final result of my mind map. 




For the group activity in this lesson, we had to create an account in Genially and then we had to create a presentation between all of us about the topic we chose, in the case of my group,about the peace day. The objectives regarding the subject of Computer Science were to learn how to work with new apps and websites that create presentations and to be able to use more tools when wanting to explain something in a more dynamic way. We reached these objectives by working together and organizing the group work and information so that all of us could add some facts about Peace Day that are equally important. We entered Genially, created our accounts and started customizing and putting together the slides for the presentation about our topic.



These two exercises made me realize how useful mind maps and infographics are. I learnt how to create new information about visual content and how to share it in the most efficient way. With the information learned about the use of infographics and mind-maps and the tools to create them I understood different ways to make sure that students and other individuals understand topics and the information regarding them in-depth.

LESSON 9: JCLIC (FOURTH & FIFTH DAY)

On today's lesson we started working with JClic. JClic, a very useful app and in this class we used it for creating activities for children. It has three applications: JClic Author, which is the one specific for designing activities and the one we had to use, JClic Player, for students to open and do the activities and finally, JClic Reports, which is used for grading the activities. In order to use JClic Author, we had to search for it in MyApps. We also had to create a new folder for saving these activities in "My Documents: R". LESSON 11: PERSONAL PROTECTION AND DATA PROTECTION

 The objectives of this lesson were: • Know and know how to apply the security measures that guarantee physical and mental integrity in the use of digital technology. • Know how to protect yourself on the Web. • Identify the factors to take into account to protect health from working with digital technology. • Learn cybersecurity by playing. In this class we talked about what does our mobile device contain, reflected in whether we invest enough time in device security or not, or users being aware of the vulnerability of the information.
